MiniLD 39 Entry
My entry for MiniLD 39 has been posted http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/minild-39/?action=preview&uid=15656 The hindsight for this entry was what would I have done had a school shooting right before LD#25 had not happened and I went with my original idea for that theme instead of a non-violent game.
CAT in the city (former Mailman) last progress report
mailman progress – zombies moving around
LD20 mailman progress – zombies moving and sound from Hamilton Lima on Vimeo.
ha ! zombies moving around in the city, soundtrack playing, each different type of zombie with his different sound ! hahahah I love zombies !!!
next step check zombies colision with the walls and with the main char
my game idea – the mailman
You control a mailman needs to deliver letters in a city full of zombies, you start at a post office with some 2 letters to deliver, every time you find a kitten it will give you a weapon to attack the zombies, the objective is to deliver as many letters you can, and kill as many zombies you can.
will have a 3rd person view, and probably only one weapon
a shotgun would be great !! lol
the streets will have cool identification names and the house will have numbers.
so remember the streets, find the kittens, kill zombies !!
I’m fine with this idea ! will go to sleep now ![]()
as soon I awake will start !
cheers and happy letter delivering !

zombies + donuts = what?
So, this is my first LD and most certainly not my last! I’ll just make this a quick update as I’ve already posted a big chunk of exposition on my own dev blog http://dev.chadgodsey.com/
I’ve got most of the code and gameplay working. I figure I’ll spend tomorrow adding extra flair and sprucing stuff up. Or maybe just go outside…

Left4Bread
Left4Bread is a game about roads and cars

And the undead.

Things happen.

(I will post the timelapse tomorrow.)
Day one is a done

Just out for a nice drive around the city in my car…
Huh? What’s all the commotion?

Zombies??
IN MY CITY?
AH HELL NAW

Left4Bread!
You play four old age pensioners, during the zombie apocalypse they were left inside their carehome to fend for themselves completely oblivious to what’s going on outside.
Then disaster strikes! Ernie tried to make everyone some lovely pea and ham soup but there’s no bread left.
They take on a grand mission. To leave their home, and find the nearest shop.
And no young, green whippersnappers are gonna get in their way.
