I always see lots of game competition online and never really paid attention to it but now i think it’s about a good time for me to try this out. This is my first ever anything. It’s not say I don’t have any interest in game development but i do! I was just afraid of trying but I want this to be my first and not last experience! Very excited to see what others come up with too!
My current tools that I will use for the competition are:
Construct2 – HTML5 Game Creation. I think this is the first piece of software I bought that was game related after Game Maker.
Browser(s): Chrome + Firefox for testing the game out.
Pyxel Edit – For teh pixels ;P
FL Studio – For the music and SFX
I hope with the time I’m given that I’ll be able to have something that works! lol
EDIT: It needed more pictures.
I return once more from the brink of insanity, TO THE BOWL OF IT!!! }:)

Music: FL Studio 9
Art Assets: Paint.Net, PixelEdit(tiling tool created by a friend)
Libraries: Of my own design, which I will make available on the studio site.
ETC: Goldfish, family, and friends! But mainly Goldfish.
Here’s how I’m going to win:
Language: Actionscript 3
IDE: Flash Develop 4.0
Graphics: Photoshop CS5.5
Sound: sfxr and Audacity
Music: FL Studio 10
Here I go!
It turns out I’m getting my wisdom teeth out on Thursday… is there any way I could use Sunday to make up for the lost day? Or maybe Wednesday? I need to know if that would be met with scorn…
My name is Greyson(Bloodyaugust), and I’m in! I’ve been wanting to do this for about a year, and I’ve decided I’m finally up for it!! I’m a web developer professionally, but a C# XNA hobbyist. Here goes the list:
- XNA for code
- FL Studio 10 for music/sounds
- Paint.Net for gfx
- Family for support!
