Loss of Control - Jeremias - Mini LD Entry
Hi!
This is my not-game called Loss of Control. I made this in ca. 5 hours because I prepare for an exam.
It's more like a hypnotic screensaver. I hope you enjoy it anyway :)
I used my personal library ontop of XNA. To "play" it, you need the XNA redistributable and the .NET 4.0 framework:

Hmmmm, I wish the lamp would swing more realistically. It needs more easing to simulate the acceleration due to gravity.
The rest looks real nice. If it were a full movie/animation done in this style, I'd watch it ;D
Yes I digg the style. Similar to "Strike of Rage!" but I like this one more because pixels are not separeted with pointless lines. White shirted guy looks like a fox or something :D.
Is it supposed to turn white after a few seconds, with the particles floating around all monochromized?
Before that, though, I was stunned by the graphics. Epic.
The guy left has a (attention! dictionary word!) burlap bag over his head... I should improve on drawing things clearer. And yeah, I really like deepnight's (Strike of Rage) art :D
@Puzzlem00n: No, this is not supposed... what version of windows and what a machine do you have (desktop or laptop)?

Laptop, windows 7. Could it have something to do with the graphics card? Because I've been having a lot of trouble with my apparent possession of a bad graphics card (Intel HD Graphics.)
I think so... I don't now what else. I clear the background with black, and not white. If you like, you can send me a screenshot (info@stevencolling.com). Or is it all "just white"?

There, see? Everything turns white, except for particles, which change into a sort of black/monochrome.
Perhaps I should rename the game to "Loss of Screen"... thank you for posting the screenshot - but I absolutely have no idea why this happens :)

Back to Topic, i realy like the little animations in the back. feels like one of these giant childbooks where little things on every page a moveable.
Nice! I could imagine a whole digital comic with such small screens for the storytelling.
