Game Developer Life - Jacic - Mini LD Entry

Imagine being a game developer. Oh wait, that shouldn't take much imagination.

I managed to combine both of the themes. If you can't find the differences that time makes, try playing really late or really early in the day.

This turned into more of an art game than I originally thought. Controls are left/right arrows or A/D.

Made with haXe + NME + HaxePunk!

I liked it. It about sums it up for the harsher elements of independent video game design. I do think it would cool to have the occasional person like it though. As it stands, it's a little too negative. Good real-time incorporation, though.

I can relate a bit too much, therefore good job. :D

This is so true, it makes me sad...super cool idea. I love it!

I'm glad you all liked it. :)

It is rather negative. The closest thing to a nice comment is "Nice try."

    This game is lame.

(Ok somebody had to do it).
I think it's why I'm so afraid to post anything I do outside of developers communities.

does it represent walking around in the developers brain?, all the voices that say it's no good, and that it's lame, are the one that motivate you to prove them wrong.

zakchaos: I didn't think about it like that, but that's actually a good analogy!

I cracked up when I got to "Nice try," because someone left me such feedback once and it struck me as such a douchey thing to say.
Thanks for making this, it was oddly inspirational :)

I love how they all didn't even play my game. ;-)
