Pvt. Littledude vs Robot Armada - gimblll - Competition Entry
Pvt. Littledude is in trouble! Robot Armada from Outer Space is attacking his homebase and he's the only one who can save the day!
Press Enter or Space to start the game, use arrow keys to control the dude and Z key to fire weapon.
Made with Flash (FlashBuilder IDE), Photoshop + Wacom for graphics, Sfxr + Audacity + some robot synth for sound.
Pretty happy with this entry! Clearly the best LD entry I've made so far (first mini LD). :) It might even be worth building it up into a proper game. :)
Sorry, don't have the time to clean/pack the source, so this'll have to go without this time. (I guess that's not so serious since this is a mini LD anyway.)

Wow, great game! I love the robot dialogue. Very fun game, well done!
That one's quite good. I like the trade-off between blocking robots with crates and getting the bonus. Also the presentation is nice.
There's a terrible choice between the possibility of a first aid kit to heal you up and the risk of picking up a new weapon when you just got your hands on a shotgun :P
An excellent mechanical consideration.
Very fun, but I do find the grenades difficult to use.

Very nice -- a lot more gameplay than I expected and good unique graphics.
Good stuff! A nice strategy is to leave the boxes there as a wall :) But then you run out of ammo and need a box :(
Awsome gameplay. This could become a really good game with some more polish. Love the robot comments, only line missing was "We are the Daaaa-leks. Exterminate".
