War of the Flying Fortresses - tcstyle - Competition Entry
That was close. Here is the source in a zip.
Requires Python 2.6+ and pygame.
My first LD entry is not as finished as I wanted it to be but thanks to the additional time sort of a game. Click left turret and then right one to change target. Fight starts first round. That's all.
** To Clarify: There is no second round and clicking around may crash the game! I haven't gotten further with my game during the 48 hours. So it's more a tech demo than a game.
Will add a windows build soon. Not tested on Linux/Mac but should work if you have pygame installed.
* Just noticed a bug: the turrets will not rotate correctly but the bullets will get the new target.

Not sure I'm doing it right. I can get them to fire once, then retarget, then it crashes. :-/
Sorry, but retargetting isn't fully implemented yet. It's far from complete I have to admit.
Doesn't seems to be working :( They just fire once. After that it does nothing, and if I click around it crashes.
I really like the art and the concept. It's a shame this isn't finished, I hope you continue!
