Behold the majesty of a true gaming classic. Enjoy! Use the arrow keys to move, spacebar to jump, and be sure to time your jumps perfectly. Once you collect enough coins you can purchase a warp coil and jetpack from the item store which will let you access the golden castle where there is an epic boss battle. Level 3 is in space so be sure to save up enough coins to upgrade your power armour.

Thanks! I'm also very proud of the all-original pixel art I drew myself. I'm thinking about calling this original character Mary O'Brother.
I played this when you posted it to your blog, and spent some time trying to figure out if I'd understood the joke, or if there was something more to be done.
If I'd noticed it was written in JavaScript I'd have just looked at the code!
