Replicate - Alexbrainbox - 48 Hour Compo Entry

This is a game about a little guy I call DNA Replicase. He takes free-floating DNA bases and attaches them to strands of DNA to make whole DNA! Unfortunately he's been taken ill, so they've brought in a replacement - YOU!

Use the arrow keys to add in the corresponding base to the one shown. But don't take too long or the chain will move on without you.

Reaction time games always make me nervous, but in a good fun way? Haha, anyways, the design here is good and the controls are responsive but the game itself doesn't evolve. There is never a curve ball thrown in, it's just the same thing over and over which in the end made me lose on purpose because there seemed to be no point in going on. I think with a few power-ups (or additional surprises) the game could really shine!

Great idea! Could use a bit of balancing though, it's quite hard right now.

Neat idea. Fun! Also, you don't lose until your third miss hits its receptor, so you can just mash all the buttons and score 40 or so. :p

Nice game, nevertheless a bit difficult. But I liked it and it suits the theme quite well, since evolution is caused by random mistakes :D
