    Gravallax - Kuulog - 48 Hour Compo Entry

    Finished just in the nick of time. In this game, you have to shoot down enemies to inherit their abilities. Use the arrow keys or WASD to manoeuvre your ship, and SPACE to fire your weapon.

    Not bad! Though I could only kill the first couple of enemies before dying. Being awarded with the enemy's ability is a nice touch.

    I found this really, really difficult. Some balancing and playtesting would have helped to tweak it for players.

    A nice challenge - got past a number of enemies and then died of a big one that fired too frequently for me to handle. A skill game, just like mine. 8)

    A bit on the easy side - simply driving at max speed while shooting can rack up enough missiles to instakill any enemy you meet. Ususally, you will lose a significant amount of health, but if you simply sit still and let it regen, then repeat, you are pretty much invincible.

    I thought it was fun, but couldn't figure out why I sometimes lost my bonus multiplier (do ou lose each ability as you gain a new one)? Also, I found it fairly easy as well, most enemies can be killed by starting at the top of the screen and firing then moving just below the enemies fire. They are slightly behind in movement (or larger) and will usually get hit.

    I thought this was kinda hard, but an interesting enemy by enemy take on the side scrolling shooter.

    Pretty cool, I found it quite difficult. The enemies seemed to copy what I was doing which freaked me out at first. I like the music :-)

    I swear I got a "Game over" outta of nowhere.

    The game is not difficulty. Not at all. You just have to time your movement correctly to make enemies move into your bullets. At first I found the game boring, but when different enemies begun to appear and I had to rethink the strategy to kill them, it became a little more fun.

    Then I became overpowered and I was just blazing on screen shooting like crazy and the enemies could barely stay on screen before dying.

    And then a random Game Over came from nowhere, even though I am sure my energy was completely full the instant before.

    very interesting idea and take on this genre - liked it.
    also good use of parallay scrolling and thumbs up for cool music

    I muted it very, VERY quickly.
    You could also work on the controls; it would bring more fun to the game if the ship felt less "heavy" and more responsive.

    I found it really, really difficult to not die in the first minute or two. However, I really enjoyed the music and parallax backdrop of space. Good job :)

    Really nice game, I like how difficult it was, even at the start. If you move enough to see an enemy, but not close enough for them to attack you, you can just kill them with no risk.
