Tiny Whirled Piece - Martoon - 48 Hour Compo Entry

    Tiny Whirled Piece

A game about locking on and zooming in to ever tinier whirling pieces.

Flash Player 11 (or, ideally, the latest Chrome) for best performance. It gets a little choppy on older machines and older versions of Flash.

I made the music and sound effects in the last hour, and realized when I got them in that the music is way too somber for this game. Oh well.

I really liked the idea behind this! Are you going to work more on this game after the judging ends? Let me know if you do :)

    My head's spinning after that.

Wooow, this one really grabbed my attention. Awesome abstract concept, with simple gameplay and provides a nice visual illusion! Would love to see some more gameplay features added in the future. I am keeping an eye on this entry!

Great concept! At some point the scope seems to disappear but maybe it's just me being bad.

Simple but fun, took me a second to realize the white crosshair was the 'target' angular velocity.

2321! Very interesting and unique concept. It took me a little bit to understand what I was supposed to do, but I eventually got the hang of it.

I got a little dizzy when it got faster @.@

Interesting mechanic and I liked the abstract art style.

It feels like it needs something else to be more fun. Maybe if instead of locking, the player would have to pass through the shape without crashing. More zooming and less camera rotating.

I didn't really follow how to match rotation speed.

Interesting mechanic. At first I didn't know whether this was a game or some art-thing (either would be fine with me) because the first levels were so easy that I didn't have to do much. But it got interesting the further I went in :-)

Can't access the website or source, so can't rate, sorry.

Apparently, my site must have been down for a bit (no idea when or why, but it seems to be fine now). Apologies to those who couldn't access the links.

I regret I wasn't able to rate more games this LD (the past 3 weeks have been a little crazy). There are some really nice entries this time, and I hope to get a chance to play through more of them in little while.
