    Nom Nom? - dastry - 48 Hour Compo Entry

    Code is messy :( and there a few bugs with some collisions and boundries, but i am happy with it!

    I had great fun working out XNA as i went and creating it all

    I hope you all enjoy it!

    Make sure you die at least once for the awesome death sound!

    Generally I love the concept to eat smaller things which at the same time makes us get bigger. I just wish there was something more to it in this game.

    Made my day. Graphics are okay, game was fun. Sadly if you had a size, nothing can kill you - so a gameplay tweak would be nice to harden the progressed gaming. You should improve the collision with the right screen border so it looks like on the left side (use the rectangle.Left + rectangle.Width instead of rectangle.Left only). And the dots moving on the info interface at the screen's bottom (pink area) - this would I fix, too.

    This looks a copy of a game i saw last time ago in a flash game page. How was its name??? Not cosmic crush, i cant find it, before cosmic there were another with rectangle faces. Smile face = you can eat, angry faces = they eat you.

    Nice simple idea, got a lot more fun at the end when there were several large enemies and staying alive is a challenge.

    Nom-nom-nom! The sound effects added a lot to the overall mood, and the game is simply fun to play. My biggest problem, that you capped the score at 500... I would have been great to eat EVERYTHING! :)

    Interesting idea - there are lots of games in this LD which use the concept of eating to grow, but this is the first one I've seen where the 'enemies' are doing the same thing!

    When I first heard the 'boing!' sound, I thought it was going to go into http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kyxC8DzjQj0 !

    Fun entry to play. Not a lot of complexity, but it works. Some balance problems, as others have mentioned - you can end up with a ginormous green opponent pretty quickly, or you can grow yourself so big that it's not much of a challenge. There was something funky with right and bottom collisions for the non-player blocks. Fun, though! Good work.

    Very cute game. I like the eating mechanic, but I wish it was deeper.
