    ! - lifenoodles - 48 Hour Compo Entry

    Didn't quite get finished, started out thinking in terms of a metroid like game but spent most of my time on the engine. Look forward to sleeping.

    Controls:
    WASD, space to jump, left/right click to shoot.

    Simple, but fun. Controls make it a bit touchpad-unfriendly, but it's still playable. Would be great if you added sound.

    Fun game, interested in playing more when it's finished. Only open rooms visible is a nice feature

    I got stuck, I think. Definitely promising. As others have said, the closed rooms being dark thing is nice.

    I liked the idea of the rooms and the doors. :)
    The gameplay could've had a little more polish :3

    It's hard to play this game with a azerty keyboard, please make available the jump with another key than space !
    I don't really understood where I was supposed to go, or what was the goal, but the visibility of the rooms is well done and a really nice feature !

    I struggled a bit with the entry but the updated one felt much better! Nice control scheme and like the dark rooms and different properties of the different coloured blocks. Hope you enjoyed getting some sleep!

    I forgot to say you're getting extra marks for it being called "!", which is coincidentally the name of an album I thoroughly enjoyed by The Dismemberment Plan
