Tiny Defenders - RadicalEd - 48 Hour Compo Entry
The Tiny Defenders game for Ludum Dare 23 compo.
You live on the Tiny Floating Island, but the Evil Enemies want to destroy your home! It's time to fight the evil, It's time to defend our homes!
The game itself is pretty simple, each attack wave consists of some number of enemies, you must destroy them all. But you only have one action - build Tiny Defender. Use it wisely!
Many features I planned isn't done in this game, I was busy in RL and my time is run out. Maybe later I will finish what I begun.

Does this game have an end? The game doesn't seem to get any harder, just longer. I stopped playing with wave 11 started with 1007 enemies. Nice concept, though.
The game is endless, my bad. I planned to make some upgrades and new enemy types, and a nice ending, but I run out of time. Consider this game as a prototype :)

that's exactly what I was hoping for - sadly this isn't the case.
this has potential - it needs RTS elements like upgrades or different uni types (so far they only have different graphics afaik)
one simple way to greatly improve the game would be to include 3 kind of units that work like rock/paper/scissors, so you need to spawn the right defenders to beat the game
however - well done, I enjoyed killing all those red little thingies
Sadly enough I've been too lazy to complete all the features I've planned. I think after my vacation (3 weeks from now) I can do it :)
Btw if someone of you guys can do some art for me, it would be great!
Great concept ant I really liked the art, if it had some upgrades and resource management it would be a really cool game.
It's a pretty decent start, but as you said, needs features. It should be interesting when it's more fully developed.
I like the floating continent sprite.
The idea is pretty great but in the end you just spam your units.
Looking forward to see what you come up with after implementing the new features.
With a bit more challenging gameplay and more features/balancing this can be quite a neat game :)
Very fun until level 5-6 when it becomes repetitive. Has potential.
