Tiny Tempers - Bezza - 48 Hour Compo Entry
Tiny Tempers is a very unpolished game about height complex's and mass genocide.
Story
Your race's home planet has become uninhabitable and your people have spread all over looking for new worlds that can sustain life. The only solar system to be found so far that is capable of this is a system of tiny planets, around a tiny sun with tiny inhabitants! These inhabitants are a bit touchy about their height, though and attack you on sight so your government has sent you to wipe them off the face of their own planets.
Controls
WASD - Move around.
Space - Jump.
E - Get in and out of your ship. (Watch out when doing this in space. The vacuum of space kills very quickly)
R - Resets you and your ship back to your re spawn point.
Mouse 1 - Fires your lasers when in your ship.
Tinies
Tinies are the little red creatures you will be seeing inhabiting the planets you visit. If they see you they will attack you then run away. They're far too small for our weapons systems to lock on and as such, the only way to kill the little blighters is to squash them with a good solid stomp.

Was nice to be able to travel between planets and explore the surface. Cool concept.
I did have a lock-up crash on web version when firing at a turret from directly above looking down on the second planet.
If the action was a bit more satisfying this would probably be a lot of fun! Good job overall.
Well made, simple graphics, and overall fun. Just one main comment: i HATED the flying controls :P
Thank you for all the kind words and criticism, I'll be sure to take it all on board!
I'm aware of the bug that causes crashing but unfortunately I ran out of time and couldn't fix it before submitting, sorry about that.
Nice a dead, I'd like a bit more attention to controls and graphics! Keep working on it! :)
I liked it a lot, wish it had a little more depth in the visual and control aspect. The game's a really good start.
I really enjoyed running around on the surface of the planets, but I couldn't get used to the controls when flying. I also couldn't seem to actually hit one of the tinies.
Pretty neat idea.
I like the concept of having the freedom to get in your ship and attempt different goals on different planets in whatever order you want. With some polish and some organization of the objectives, this could be quite a fun little game.
Nice idea. Some more graphical input would have made a game that looked and played great, but still! Also, maybe some more info on what we're supposed to do at first..
Very interesting and nice, not entirely fun, but not without merit. Would definitely be worth working more on though, would be much more enjoyable. Good job!
While the concept is sound, the current implementation is quite frustrating. I suppose you're probably aware of these issues, but here goes anyway:
After I get out of the ship and start touching tinies (that sounds wrong:), it's a nightmare trying to find my ship again (at least we've got R). It also took me quite a while to figure out how to kill the tinies even though the description does point you in the right direction (shooting them with your ship is ineffective) - I started stomping them with the ship initially. :D I really would have liked some kind of indication of progress when shooting things, as well (health bars?). Being able to strafe with the ship would be very useful for dodging attacks while being able to do attacks yourself. It'd also be more fun if I had a higher rate of firing (at the cost of less damage per hit). Planets appear to be moving in orbits, I think, but if you're going to have that, then gravity should affect my ship as well so that I don't have to constantly catch up with them. Also, I must have been terribly unlucky and have unity freeze (first time I've seen that) on me when I got to the shield planet (where the game does seem to get more interesting). Not much you can do about that, I suppose. :)
Good effort, anyway.

For a "non-polished" game, this is quite pleasant to drift around on, I skipped the reading instructions bit to begin with and flew into the sun - but eventually got to the space bit where you're supposed to destroy turrets/shields.
Aiming is a bit iffy, but overall I can see what you were trying to do and I like it
