Things to improve:
* Different planet textures
* Something to deviate attention from planets
* Shoot powerups?
Overall, felt too plain, I ended up suiciding in the 6th planet because I thought it was endless.
The explosion effects are nice, but it doesn't fit the low-polyness of the planets and the resolution of the textures.

Very nice work on the graphics. I really liked the little details - the bobbing ship, the extra cannons on the side, the volumetric fog on the explosions - kept me going for a few turns just basking in it.

That being said, it is a bit stumped, but hey, with this time frame you're forced to make sacrifices, yeh?

Really cool idea! With some more elements added it could be a great game.

I like the graphics and the idea of shrinking the worlds, but I keep feeling like something should be shooting at me.

Thanks to everyone for their feedback. This was my first LD and it was quite a learning experience for me.
