This Planet Ain't Big Enough For The Both Of Us - Cidolfas - 48 Hour Compo Entry
A game about how long you can stay on a tiny world.
WASD to move, mouse to aim/shoot, Q to change weapons.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Protip: You can keep tapping jump to hover. The mines are quite hard in this build without hovering/blasting down!

Controls were weird for me as well but only because I use programmer dvorak. Arrow keys would have been preferred.
It took me a few tries to launch an enemy into space, many times I died from one hit. IMHO the difficulty ramps up incredibly too fast.
My favorite part is the seamless transition from menu to game.
I didnt quite get the overall idea, but it does have some neat mechanics.
I tried and tried, but The Game Wasn't Easy Enough For Me. (read: I'm really bad at it)
Nope, you guys are all correct! I ran out of time to balance it so it is *VERY* hard if you aren't hovering with the jump button, which isn't adequately explained in game. I'm going to put up a post-compo revision in a week or so (when I have time >_>) that's more playable.
Sorry for it being so hard!
Pretty fun, but got repetitive. The hint to tap and hover was helpful.
This felt like a jump n'shootin' Smash Bros. It was simple and light hearted fun, although when there are many enemies in the world, the beeping sounds gets a little too overwhelming! Nice entry mate!
I found a very easy strategy: hover and don't move. Eventually enemies/mines stack under you then either blow up mines below them or fly close so they toss each other.
And what's up with damage meter? I took 1000% damage, and it did nothing.
And the sound was annoying.
Very interesting play style, I enjoyed it. I was not able to progress much, though.
It would've been even more brilliant if the tutorial-screen would rhyme :P

Interesting game mechanics. The controls were a bit weird for me.
