Ludum Dare 23
April 20th-23rd 2012 :: 10 Year Anniversary! :: Theme: Tiny World
Operation Tinder Feat - cacciatc - 48 Hour Compo Entry
This game is based on childhood summer water-gun fights I would wage in my neighborhood. The combination of all out water battles, post-battle water treaties, and other elementary school politics formed a tiny world that me and every other kid on the block lived in every summer.

Nice interpretation of the theme. Diagonal movement and the ability to fire in a direction other than the direction you're facing would have made the battles a little less frustrating (e.g. cursors to move UDLR, WASD to fire UDLR)
Cool idea. My finger got tired after pressing z so much. Brought back the pain and joy of water gun fights :). Was pretty easy once I found out enemies won't shoot at you if your to the right of them.
Not much fun to be honest. The pressure thing is a good idea but gets a bit annoying after a while.
Nice take on the theme! It's a pity that there is no sound and it was difficult for me to differentiate the walls from the roads, at first. I liked the duality pressure/water =D it spices a bit the gameplay but it should be easier to get pressure, (damn you OnPressed [z]-key event!!!!)!
;-) keep on the good work...
Too bad your gun doesn't explode when you get too much pressure...
it's a nice idea! with some improvement on graphic side could be a funny game
Heh, I really liked the concept of morale. This is a nice start to a game. Make it a little less open world and I think people will like it more (it's a psychological thing).

I LOVE the theme you went with here. I also really like the idea of having to keep your gun primed by keeping the pressure up. It sort of feels like a resource management game as well as an action one - I like it :)
Would have been nice to have diagonal movement, and some music :)
It's cool how you can choose to either defeat the other kids, or just sneak past them to rescue the captives ;)
