Planet Grab - zzzev - 48 Hour Compo Entry

Had a ton of fun; just follow the instructions in the game to play. Inspired by clean aesthetics and dreams of terraforming the galaxy. Enjoy! If you have any feedback, I'd be interested to hear it. Check out my personal web site at http://zevyoura.com/

    Great Game!
    I love the concept!
The only game that entranced me

Wow, great job with this game!
I really like the minimalism, and the core mechanic.
I'd love to see development for this game continue -- add different resource types to harvest from the planets, add enemies, etc, but keep the core concept (of launching stuff using the elastic/orbital mechanic) the same.

A nice take on gravity based archery. Can definitely be expanded.

I love the idea, very fun. It wasn't clear right away that the line was a rubber band launcher and you have to point the opposite way you want to go, but easy enough to figure out (cost my a pod, however). I think gravity should play a bigger role, I was able to skim right past the sun. Still, very fun.

I like the main game mechanic but it got boring pretty quickly. A nice game though which with more work could be turned into something really nice.

Its strength lies in its simplicity, and I think it can be significantly expanded without sacrificing that; for example an "accelerate" button would have made it better so that accurate shots could be taken at close proximity, but then there would have to be some threat so that using it poses a risk. Good job!

Love the concept. The levels are generated?
Btw, the text at the bottom interferes the play.

Neat job with the procedurally-generated sound effects! I'll have to check out that library for next time.

This seems like a fun concept, but I didn't really know what was going on. Clicking on the planets did something, but what? And I seem to run out of bullets for no apparent reason. But the engine is there, which is great work for 48 hours.
