The graphics are fun and the sounds fit. However, if they were not, I would probably have ragequited because it's a bit glitchy sometimes.
I found it a bit glitchy too, but overall good stuff :)
the game is solid, concept as well
Nice first game. I liked the mechanic of the bullets wrapping around the screen and eventually dropping as their velocity went low. I think you could've played around more with that element.
The graphics were maybe a bit to low-res, and they were in a weird aspect ratio, they felt to stretched out or something. Maybe the graphics were a bit to "close" to the screen.
Other than that I actually liked the color palette, you really nailed a retro look with all the high contrast.
Sound was fine but there was some noises that just cut through my ears.(I'm thinking about the respawn noise)
Some of the collision with the enemies were sometimes a bit dodgy, other than that it was a good first game!
