Tiny Apocalypse - Thinkofdeath - 48 Hour Compo Entry
Try and last for as long as you can. Arrow keys to move. Z to attack. M for Map and Crafting. X for back. I kinda ran out of time to add much more so here it is. Coded in Java with GWT so it runs using Javascript/Canvas.

Cool, another HTML5 game, it's great to see more of them, though I didn't really got too far into the game I think.
I couldn't hold off the zombies, so I swam away, that however also didn't go well :P.
I knew I would forget to do something:P I forgot to test swimming away. Now I think of it that would be what most would do if they got overrun.
Cool game, reminds me of minicraft ;D I liked the sound and the map generation stuff.
reminds me of Minicraft. I also like how you could see the shape of your world before you start to play.
I had performance issues on firefox (too many zombies and it started lagging really badly) and I kept dying because I'd get stuck in a position due to the over-reaching collision detection. I think it'd be cool if we had a bit more time to gather wood and maybe a different way to get RP.
Pretty cool though overall, I liked it.
Thanks for the feedback. I didn't get to do and test as much as I would of liked but hopefully next time I'll do better.
That's a good take on a HTML5 game. Also reminds me of minicraft. :)
Pretty cool concept, but needs lots of work. I'm not sure what the other non-wood resource is supposed to be, although it might be gained by killing the mobs. I also got auto-stuck in the wall I placed.
Nevertheless, it's kind of fun. Thank you for the entry!
Nice game and - as already mentioned - has some things in common with minicraft ;)
I wasn't able to make much progress I'm afraid, perhaps there's more after the game that I'm unable to see.
looked like minicraft. I got overwhelmed by zombies before I could do much of anything. They seemed to know where I was and run straight to me, no matter how far away they were.
Wow it did turn out like Minicraft. That wasn't the plan... Well next LD I'm staying away from crafting/rpg games because this turned out too complex for me to do in the time limit.
LOL it feels like a mini tiny Minecraft. Good work! Somehow I had issues with Opera on the main menu, but switched to Firefox and it was all good. And I wish the screen size was larger, but overall good job!
Really cool game, I like the fact that you generate the world and see it before playing it, and I like how hectic it gets as you go on, its a really cool idea.
