Hi there! I made this game on a half witted whim, without the most clear and concise gameplay flow in kind... you may chain together combos by collecting identical pieces in a row. when you finally break the chain, you will get 3 points for each chained piece. thanks for playing!
Missing some instructions to fully appreciate the game and maybe a "try again" button. Overall not specially fun but the render is smart and it works fluently.

I am so confused from this, but good on you to have tried something different!
Nice simple look, but this has nothing to do with the theme. The puzzle idea/concept is cool and with animation and polish could work very nicely. In-game tutorial/control description and better object distinction would help to get into this faster.
Also, is this your own music? You link to Mod Archive profile but it doesn't look like yours. Per competition rules, you cannot use external music and you must make it during the compo.

I'm probably just dense, but I couldn't figure out what caused combos. Great background music, and I like the clean look of the game.
