A rather Lonely Darkness - pireninjacolass - Jam Entry
Myself (pireninjacolass) and My friend Ollz272 (Timothy M Bradford and Oliver Parker) worked to bring you a game. The game is a top down shooter titled A rather Lonely Darkness.
Story:
You have set off from your home to acquire riches untold from the deep dark mine about 11 miles from your village. The forests between here and there are full of wolves and there have been sightings of a few orcs roaming the wilds. Fortunately you came well armed spending your life savings on three, reliable guns. These should see you through the forests but once you enter the dwarves mine, even they might be have a hard time keeping you in one piece since the horrors of the mine are far beyond anything anyone has ever shot to death before.
Controls:
WASD to move

Thats for the info! we're going to work on that in the next update (:
Good fun! Just work on some visual clues and perhaps changing some of the world colors so you can better see the bullets you shoot!
Nice gamemakergame, I got 190 points before these little yellow/golden things raped me. :)
Fun game, as others have said, some of the graphics aren't clear enough like the dark grey walls in the first cave/mine area - I thought it was just a different coloured floor, espec as the creatures on the other side were trying to get at me through it! Aside from that much fun!
I think that real wolf are not shaking tail while hunting... It made them too cute to be shot at :)
Nice overall.

Thanks for the game. It was not bad at all.
Some suggestions:
- You need better visual clues for the dungeon area - the dark gray walls dont really look like walls, and the "insta death pits" were annoying when I found out what they were.
- Make the game detect when it loses focus and auto-pause. With a "aim and click" shooter, there is always the risk of the mouse clicking outside of the screen during combat.
- Maybe increase the speed of the character a bit?
