Flee your Fate - TellusE - 48 Hour Competition Entry
Windows (7-zip) | Web | Source
Once again, the file is huge by regular flash standards, in the vicinity of 10 megs.
For that reason I've included a zipped projector file (exe) for the Windows users. If any Linux and Mac users out there could put together projector files for their respective systems I'd be happy to provide hosting for their entries through the voting period :)
Instructions:
Mouse clicks for clicking through title screens, cutscenes and the like.
WASD/Arrows for movement. In the first two scenes, they have the same effect, in the final scene they are both used.
Enter is used in the final scene.
I've dropped several LD names in the game together with four different endings depending on performance and final outcome.
I hope you like it.
Edit: fixed a nasty bug that made it impossible to win, but possible to lose. We dislike that.
Edit2 (source only): Deleted and re-created the source repo on github with lower quality sound files and without the Audacity source files. This reduces the size by more than 75%. If anyone actually wants the source files just comment :)

Loved the innovation is this game. Loved the ideas. Keep it up.
Great voice over and nice graphical representation on the last level.
Love the ideas in this game, although the scrolling text is a bit slow.
Neat idea. The progress trhough the story, combined with the minigames is also well done.
tneslond: I just ran it through my system again without issue. Can you describe what kind of problem you encounter?
That was really great. Awesome story and voice acting. Seeing names from LD people made me smile. The minigames were challenging enough to make me replay a couple of times and try getting the best ending. Well done!
Nice presentation, but i was usually quite confused what I am supposed to do :) First minigame ended for me in few seconds before I could do anything, cop just got me before I could ran away.
Full marks for audio and innovation. Stringing together a bunch of mini games to tell a crime drama was a brilliant idea.
That's a heck of a lot of monologue there, Raymond Chandler. It was cool that it was different, but maybe a little too much.
I didn't beat any of the games. They seem extremely hard, although I feel like I came close on the second one. I played through the game three times and the first and third games always lasted a couple seconds for me.
Text scrolled way too slow, but I had fun doing the minigames. Played through twice and had the same result each time; lost all 3 minigames. A bit more feedback for the player might have gone a long way in helping understand the games. :)
Well done! Awesome voice acting.
Lovely voice acting and sound, but I'm unsure of the games (especially the last) and how to win. Also, I prefer more gameplay to exposition.
The whole story line was the best thing about it. It was all of those mini games put together into one main game. However, at some times I wasnt sure what I was doing and then it said I lost. This game is a good Ludum Dare contest game but if you were to make it a REAL game it needs some work (just like every other Ludum Dare game). But good job and good luck with your ratings! :)

A bit of Warioware in there! Neat little games. The graphics and goals were confusing at times, especially in the last game. The second one didn't seem winnable, but that may have been the point. But it did suit the theme nicely and I liked the multiple games tying together the theme.
