Alpha Centuri - Jasper Stocker - 48 Hour Competition Entry
Something has gone terribly wrong, fight and flight your way out of this place, before it gets you!
Turn down your lights, and turn up your speakers. etc.
Controls: Standard Mouse aim/shoot keys/AWSD movement
My first entry to LD, it's been a blast. Managed 26 hours of development. Built in Unity/C#, SFX with AS3SFXR online, Music made with Reason, 'Textures' made in Fireworks.

Fun and stylish gameplay. The blood made a convenient marker for where I had been :P I know darkness was kinda the point, but I could have use for a slightly brighter flashlight.
Didn't get very far, got swarmed by enemies. However, you've got some great graphics in this game!
Good looking game, but I couldn't get past getting swarmed by the little black things. Maybe I'm missing something? The flashlight and muzzle flash effect are very cool though.

You can get through though, I can do it (of course, I'm the bloody dev! haha). I've added a help link but basically, KEEP MOVING, burst fire, try to flank/avoid enemies when to opportunity arises (not often) shoot mostly ahead and at any ghost taking your soul!..

I have to agree that the music is great, and coupled with the limited field of vision provides immersion.
I escaped !!! :D Good game ... I was like " OMFG " when all that ghosts started attack :D ... good idea with flashlight ;)

Nice looking. I wanted to move faster. Light was great. Sound was good as well. Nice atmosphere
Very creepy. The 1st part of the game with nothing attacking you realy set up the mood. I thaught there would be a finite number of enemies So I bunkered down in a corner. Aparently this was not a good idea.
Nice immersion, and I also expected aliens... but the ghosts was a welcome twist. A brighter flashlight would be a decent addition, but give it a burnout time or battery run-out perhaps?

I loved the flashlight gobo, usually when people implement a flashlight, it's only a cone of light, this one felt like a flashlight.
Great approach. It's a pity that it's becoming sort of a zombie shooter quite soon. Would have made such a good suspense game.
This is a really cool game! One of my faves so far. The visuals and sounds are great. Starts out ominous, gets exciting when the enemies keep coming and coming and coming. Thanks :)

Brilliant graphics and music. I really like the flashlight effect. The game was very atmospheric but I suddenly got overrun with waaay to many enemies to handle!
