Thanks Krang!
I did intend for a explanation/intro just before you start but unfortunately there just wasn't enough time in the end. As for the game-over screen, it most certainly does.
Anywho, I'm glad you enjoyed it. :)
The first keyboard/mouse sidescroller I've seen so far, and it's pretty good! The premise is great and the obstacles are varied. If I could make one suggestion, speed up as you drop loot.
Not bad, but the movement felt like everything was taking place on the moon, which actually made it more tedious to play than if it were twice the speed(I imagine).
I thought I was looting boxes... until I lost all my gold. Nice simple gameplay, but lacks gameplay, depth and better art. It could have been faster with more action. Boomerang sword is fun and nice mechanic.
Ahh, I suppose I should have worked on the sense of speed more. Cheers for the comments guys.
It took me a while to figure out that all the gold spraying out when I hit boxes was my own. I was going to buy a new moat with it too.
Yeah. Chalk another one up to "ohhhh loot is my energy" headslapping later in playing. I liked the idea though. The boomerang sword was a nice addition, but the speed issues could do with balancing.
At first I just wanted to kill the dragon... the right->left scrolling always throws me.
Cute little game, I even made it with 20000 gold. ;-)
I liked the boomerang sword, and with some music and a more animated dragon (at least for the fireball - could be good for some visual feedback) and better collision (I ran into the boxes even though I didn't touch them for sure), i.e. polish, this could be a good game for smartphones.

"At least you got away, I guess" ;)
Enjoyed it! Seemed a little bland at first, but honestly it turned out to be a pleasant little experience. The sword-throw mechanic hugely helped out gameplay, and the number of obstacles was just right at three (fireballs, bats, blocks).
A bit more explanation at the beginning would be beneficial, but overall not bad at all. I liked the game-over screen too, I'm assuming it changes depending on your results :)
