Escape(ism) - benedict - 48 Hour Competition Entry
I think I took the theme in a different direction. This is a game about games and doing things. Made with Flashpunk, Pixen, bfxr, and GarageBand.

Brilliant. Very unique interpretation of the theme.
The "escape" room genuinely made me laugh out loud.
Nice idea, but it takes tooo long for spike hit animation and would be better with a knockback, so the player can keep playing. Escape room is the highlight of this and make a nice twist on theme. It's kind of short without resolution though, unless there is something to do in the black room. Graphics are very simple, perhaps too simple.
I really really liked this game, and if it was longer, I may have loved it. I could have stayed in that escape room forever...
It's not a game but rather exercise in patience and frustration due to the long wait after the spike hits you. Let's say the artistic idea is there, but as a game it fails.
Nice, but it could have been longer. Hitting spikes takes MUCH too long though.
