The game is finished from the mechanical standpoint. Sadly there aren't that many levels.
The controls are arrowkeys(or wasd) for movement and space for menu navigation. The rest will be explained ingame.
When the game runs to slow. Disable PostProcessing in Options.
For a better challenge.. disable enemy sight cone in options.
This game was written purely in java without external libraries.

Game is super slow. Levels are also pretty small for the map size, would have been nice to zoom in a little. Pretty good stealth game.
Felt very slow. This was kind of nice for giving it a bit of a creepier vibe, but the gameplay itself isn't really that creepy so after a while I was just annoyed at how slow it was.
Artistically, it has a great theme. The audio fits how the world looks, but I can't get over how slow it plays.
This is minor, but I wish that at the start of a new level, your energy level was at full so you can sprint right away. The movement is so slow that I try and sprint whenever I can.
The player's hitbox is much larger than the character sprite, which causes some frustrating moments where you are trying to move, but can't due to invisible collision.
All in all, great theme and was atmospheric, but it would have helped a ton to speed the player up and tighten his hitbox.
While I like the stealth game play you were going for, the speed of the character really ruins it for me. You added the run button, but its pointless when near guards so the player is forced to crawl through the level.
I too thought it would be nice to have the character move a bit faster. Also for some reason things were really small on my screen... might have been nice to upsample things a bit and reduce the grid size of the levels. Good ambiance and much though... set the mood well!
Painfully slow movement. 2d espionage sounds fun but at those speeds its just nerve wracking. Also would be nice to have an idea on the hearing range for guards.
The Good: Nice level design! And nice music!
The Bad: It's soooo sloooooow. The guy's hit box seems a little too big. The grid overlay doesn't look very good and makes things hard to see, and doesn't line up with the level tiles. At first I thought I was supposed to be a ghost or something.
I made it to one past the level where you get the cloaking device. I like where you were going with this, but the slow walking speed really kills it.
I must echo the others' comments about the slowness of the player. I also found that the energy starts to waste down just by pressing shift without actually running around. The guards also detected my sound just pressing shift.
I thought that the graphics and the music were well done.

The visual theme and level design are pretty neat!
