So I get to level 14, and with no end in sight, I decide that coin isn't worth it, and finish with a 7/8. Ugh.
Other than that, I like the slower pace puzzle feel. Some of the path finding made me feel like I didn't have a say in the move at all, but overall pretty good.
I like this! A simple but versatile concept.
I almost ended in level 8 after few attempts and it's good I played more, level with disappearing tiles made me to play few more, but lev 12 with two bats was the end for me... just couldn't find a way to dodge both flying mice at the same time.
Simple but effective and working design, same as Josh, pathfinding annoyed me a bit in some places, especially near holes.
I actually thought that the pathfinding was what made the game good. You have to base your moves knowing that the pathfinding cuts corners. Simple yet awesome game.
My only complaint is that it doesn't select a tile when you are on a line.
Like the Concept this could be a fun flash game with some polish like a level select screen and some of the things to see on popular games on places like Kongregate.
MMM really liked this one! Planning out the movement against multiple enemies got tricky but was quite fun. Really would like to see this explored more, please continue.
Wonderful game. Very cute aesthetics, both visually and musically.
I agree with Chevy. Great concept and execution. Adding more level elements would make this game even greater.
I got 8/8 :D
Lovely game, I really like the music.
I liked this game. I think the sound could have been better(I would have preferred sound effects to music if it came down to a choice) but it was overall very well presented.
Finish this! add a level select screen and get it on kongrate!
Good idea, good implementation. Progression feels consistent and does well to add new concepts and apply them. Enemy AI is very predictable, and that's good or bad depending on what your goals were, but it produces a nice (imo) puzzle feel to the game.
This was a very fun game. Nice concept, well executed, and nice music to back it up. I liked the graphics too :)
The difficulty was also well balance, introducing a new concept when I thought I had got everything figured out.
I somehow managed to end with 12/8 coins though... I have an inkling it doesn't take on off when you die after getting a coin?
Lovely game concept and art. Though not my personal type of game (to impatient).
Fun game, lovely music, fantastic and innovative concept, and challenging to boot! More community involvement would've been nice though.
It took a bit to figure out how the enemies move but once I did, the level design became quite interesting.
Nice, cute little game. Cute isometric graphics that I really like. Good choice using mouse for primary control with isometrism because otherwise that's just a huge pain. Nice game concept too. Good all around.
class! so much fucking class here! <3
Really smart lil puzzle game. Sometimes it just seems impossible, but you can really beat it by thinking 1 step ahead of the enemies.
I played it to the finish, which I think is a compliment! :)
Only got 5/8 goldcoins though. The music was a bit repetative, but also lowkey so I didn't go crazy over it. It was just there, adding to the athmosphere.
Very nice and cute. Graphics/map could use a little variety and music gets quite repetitive. Few polished levels > many levels. A* is fine, but for the 48h on a 8x8 map, a simple breadth first would have done the same to leave time for art, for example. I rant too much, nice game.
I love the design, and the graphics and music are cute. The pathfinding seems a bit buggy, though. There were a few spots that are 3 squares away (and thus, the player should be able to reach), but when they are moused over, the pathfinding shows a more roundabout 3-square route that stops one square away from the destination, as if it were 4 squares away and impossible to reach.
Nice game! plenty of levels, and nice game play elements!
Very cool concept. I wonder if being given 4 tiles and allowed to plan the movement path wouldn't be more fun?
Further development is required!
Has a nice 'tactical' approach to it, but the music loop gets repetitive really fast
