    Runner! .. and his problems.. 1.1 - Folis - 48 Hour Competition Entry

    IMPORTANT FIX: I fixed the room_goto_next() thing now. If you still have problems, please don't hesitate to tell me!

    Side note: If the screen is too small for you, you can resize it, like you would be able to with any other window.

    Jump with the space bar.

    The 'O+' Pickup generates two rocks at once ;) Try to avoid or go for dodging two obstacles at once

    Play Music with right click on the speaker
    and mute it with a left click ;)

    It shouldn't be that terrible though.

    "You angered King Blob. Now he's shooting giant rocks at you! RUN. For hells sake, RUN!"

    (Sorry for my english, I'm french :)

    Nice little graphics, the music is a little too loud, and it always crashed for me when I tried to replay after dying

    Anyway, nice little game, but the gameplay wasn't that original, but I like the scrolling from right to left, it's disturbing, and the other thing I like was the fact that when you pick up somes stuff, it actually create a rock
    So you have the choice to try to dodge the pick up, but then you mostly going to take the rolling ball in you face when it arrives, Or pick it up and dodge two balls at the same time,

    And why so small ? ^^

    Hmm, never crashes for me.. I just downloaded it from here.

    You always have the possibility of turning your volume down, or mute the music ;)

    The gameplay isn't original, that's right, but it's the only thing I could come up with ^._^;

    And it's so small, because I like that for some reason. I don't know why, though.

    It crashed for me also when replaying the game.

    Looks and sounds very nice! Bit more elaboration on gameplay would be good. I wasn't sure about having the character towards the right of the screen when the danger appears from that edge.

    Great job :) You did a neat trick by having the danger come from the smaller side of the screen, makes you feel very anxious because more danger could come at any moment. Also great graphics, but the resolution is very tiny on my screen :(

    I beat this on my way to work this morning after about 5 tries. It took a while to get the timing down.

    What do the pickups do? I have no idea, but collected them all anyway.

    The art and audio were nice, and it felt nice and polished from an aesthetic point of view. The gameplay got a bit dry toward the end due to repetition, but it was a fun little game while it lasted. :) Would have loved to see increased speed or maybe a change in the player position as they got closer to the end. Something to mix it up a bit.

    A score counter could give more sense of accomplishment, as the game is rather repetitive. The sounds and graphics are very good though.

    Wouldn't work with Wine, and there doesn't seem to be a GameMaker for Linux :(

    I like the graphics, somehow very appealing. Of course they get old real soon without variety. Very simple gameplay, needs more depth. King Blob also apparently never makes an appearance, for all I know it was a rockslide :P

    Loved the graphics and the music. I found the character to be quite lovely and I surely enjoyed jumping (although I died a lot for careless jumps). Overall a fun little entry.

    Not bad, I liked the art but the gameplay needs more variety than just jumping (perhaps some powerups, different projectiles to dodge, etc.). The music is not bad but could be a little fuller. Overall it was good but just needs to be fleshed out some more.

    Great soundtrack. I like the style of your sprites. But the gameplay gets a little boring quite fast.

    The music and graphics are good. The gameplay, though, is very repetitive and gets boring too soon.
