RELIEF!! - vandriver - Competition Entry
My first ludum dare and it was an ordeal, but a blast!
In this game, you pilot a lady who cannot venture to a public restroom alone! Arrow keys move and the 'any' key does all the rest.
I used an unregistered version of Game Maker for this because I'm just not good with this stuff so if there's anything i need to edit for people to be able to play, just let me know.
If level 8 is too hard you can hit the delete key instead of the any key on game start to begin at the last level which is much easier and goofier.

Nice interpretation, I think this is the first "go" in this definition that I've come across.

Awesome! Tremendously funny and some clever level design!
My only gripe is that the game can be very unforgiving when you move between tiles, it has to fit the exact tile, even though it seems that you should be able to move.
I also got stuck in level 8, how do move the nerd to that last dude in the top left corener, goddamit?
So I skipped to level 9, I don't want to say anything, but it's well worth it...

the collision really is awful - it was the last thing on the list to refine and i just couldn't get it done in time.
level 8 involves only using waiters and jenny to block the dbags, moving the nerd first out to the top left, then getting the meat, then going all the way back around bottom and getting jenny while the waiters block the top row of dbags(getting out of line of sight to right quickly) then proceeding back around to the exit.
i made that level way too hard but figured i'd allow it to be skipped. if i had more time and was more adept with game maker, i'd have made a level select/skip feature.
