Thanks! Yeah I noticed the jitteriness too, but it only happens with the swordsman at the beginning and health bar for some reason. I didn't have time to really look into it.
I was going to add more parallax scrolling, but then time was running out so I just drew the mountains onto the sky background :D
WHAT A TWIST! I shouldn't give away the whole thing but I liked both of the twists. Also your music is mayhem. Also the fact that you fell slower when you attacked.
That was so much fun. The music and sounds were perfect.
I was jumping and swatting like a freak near the end.
Great job!
The end boss was a little irksome to fight, because he just kept walking and you had to chase him around (as opposed to him getting stunned when hit or something). Not sure how you would change it exactly, but when it's not exciting anyways I don't think the fight should be too long.
Good game though, simple and amusing.
Great fun, polished, clever use of theme, funny, cute... brilliant job!

Hi, I'm really impressed by the innovative idea for the theme and I like the ending. However I think I had a bug?
The first time when I defeated the 'last boss' he fell down and the screen turned red, the second time, he walked away and the princess gave me a hug.. ?
And the graphics and music are awesome too.
Could it be? An escort quest that's actually fun-packed?
Sure, the cat was an invincible death-machine, but that was the point, amirite?
Nice work, congrats!
Haha, this was great! :)
I was a bit disappointed when the swordsman wanted to fight but never actually fought back. If he did, I think it'd be a bit more interesting since you'd do better at the end of the game if you performed worse while protecting him.
Anyways, loved the twist. ^^
Haaa, what a chump prince, thinking he gets a kiss for doing nothing. I like the monsters too - weird land-crustacean thing and flying green shrimp wasp?
The game feels very complete (which is a feat to accomplish in LD!)
Love the kitty controls.
As others mentioned, the jitter could be fixed, more flash added, but over all awesome entry, one of my faves so far!
Awesome, you made a cat escort quest game with a plot twist as well :D
Game play could use more variety to make it more interesting. Nice take on the theme, and a fun little story. Graphics were very cool, though as others mentioned there is some jitter on the main character movement.

Cute little game - nice job! The swordsman's movement was a bit jittery - like he was being re-aligned by a pixel or two each frame? The health bar did the same thing. Adding parallax scrolling to the mountains would be a nice touch.
