    Disco?Very! - Martoon - Competition Entry

As always, I refuse to do the most direct, obvious meaning of the theme. I try to find some other way of interpreting the words, so I end up with a different result than the other entries.

    Here, I present you Disco?Very!.

It could definitely use a better difficulty ramp and more interesting move patterns to follow, but my brain is tired and I'm done for now. I would also have liked to write some better, more varied music for it.

This game was oh so awesome. Would LOVE if the speed picked up a bit so it gets harder.

Kinda like Simon but it plays a lot differently, so you've done well in the innovation section.

Seems to be a bit slow at some points so I've taken one off for fun, but other than that... wow.

BLATANT THEME VIOLATION and I'm not really sure if you've done it as what was SUPPOSED to be expected but here's 5 stars.

Graphics could possibly do with some effects or... no, screw that, there's no point.

    I LOVE THE MUSIC

The whole game is a joke driven to its logical extreme. No point inserting jokes into it (unless they're silly disco moves).

Overall, this is a very unique game, and quite well polished. If there were a level editor for this, it'd basically iron out every kink that you could iron out.

Communitywise, not much in the blog post department but you had a beta and you kept it up to date from what I gather.

Hilarious take on the theme! I seem to screw up a lot on the downward points, since I'm thinking left arm = left hand, but it's point left = left hand.

Haha, crazy and random, nice work.

6721. It's really surprisingly compelling, I find, but it takes a long time to pick up pace.

I like it. Though on a german keyboard it is not playable, because the keys are like everywhere but near each other. Keys like D C K M would have worked on more keyboards.

This, sir, is genius. I only wish it had gotten harder.

The top-right action key doesn't work on my keyboard (UK) :(
    Otherwise, filled with joy!

For some reason the ["] key doesn't do anything for me. I didn't really enjoy the game because of this, but I can appreciate its greatness nonetheless.

Got this one in my batch to rate, funny because my game has the same title. :) Your take on disco was much more literal and I love the pixel disco kings. I agree with the others that it should have gotten harder.. I didn't have any trouble keeping up with those other dancers pretty much forever.

Nice, had fun. It got a bit hard to tell what was going on at the more complex dance sequences. Good fun overall.

haha, v.nice! Only criticism is that the '"' top right movement key is actually my '#' key on uk keyboard.

5 theme stars right there buddy :D You're lucky I don't prefer the keyboard layout my nationality (danish) would suggest, or it'd be unplayable (better listen to joekinley to make it more globally accessible). Controls are a bit twitchy. Would be great if you'd have to release the keys at the right time also, but there seems to be key repeat which sucks.

The keyboard layout seems to be a bit US-centric. Took a while to figure out which key to use for top-right.

Excellent fun! The sound effect kind of broke the rhythm at times, though, and the positioning of everything could've been better. Still, great fun!

This is so made of win! 6638 points.
It really gets damn fast later on. The music is great.
I really wish people would f*cking stop use Z. It's annoying to switch keyboard layout to english all the time.
That's about the only niggle I have.

Not terribly inventive, but brilliantly catchy.
