great visuals in the back there, concept was kind of obvious but the game feels good to play.
I have weird input issues where the guy sometimes seems to want to drift towards the middle. Is that intentional? I'm not sure it adds a lot to the gameplay and it feels wrong.
Background is cool but doesn't really fit with the game.
Down as an alternate key for picking up enemies would be nice.
Challenging, great, minimalistic. You know what this is? The perfect realization of `Enemies as Weapons'.
And with gratuitous fractals, too. Yum.
Great work. I like the screensaver in the background. The one counter-intuitive thing is that because the background is fixed in place it never feels like I'm moving. Coupled with the magnetic camera and the whole time it felt like I wasn't in control. Overall, a really atmospheric, quality game. Keep up the great work!
I enjoyed playing this one. The concept wasn't anything too new, but it was executed nicely. I liked the background, but yeah, it didn't really fit. All in all if was fun, though.
Nice, eerie atmosphere in this game. Good gameplay aswell, minimalistic but fun. Nice Work!
Cute little minigame, just enough challenging. I played for quite some time but only managed to get down to 12 seconds :).
Really playable - I like the atmospheric music and the player sprite animation too, simple but effective. The 'autocentering' mechanic works really well for a quick little challenge like this. Agree that the trippy screensaver background doesn't fit the rest of the game, despite maybe being a bit of fun to make technically. I also found it weird that the jump sound seemed to trigger at the apex of a jump rather than perfectly synchronized with the button press - you get used to it, but it seemed a bit wrong at first.
Great prototype, nice style too. Could use some more polish and detailing. Quite fun, but I couldn't beat it.
Nice game you did here.
Would be cool if y was for jumping instead of c.
I think there would be room for expansion here. Well, just look at Super Mario Bros. 2 (Doki Doki Panic). The visuals are really weird, although I'm not sure if they really interact with the game. It's like a screensaver was playing behind the game. If you made the rainbow visuals interact with the characters, it could be really cool.
Also, full Community points for you. :-)
with the weird background it felt like I wasnt moving. either enemies may start to jump randomly or I feel the collision isnt spot on as i was standing on one guy and I randomly died when guys walked past under me, really great game and the sounds are awesome though
Really like the simplicity. I also really like the music and background procedural graphic effects. The gameplay is easy to pickup and the controls are great. My only gripe is that the motivation was wrong for me. Just waiting for the timer to run out proved to not be enough to get me to really smack enemies together as then I was often in more danger of dying . It seems there is an alternate strategy of just avoiding or riding on the heads of the enemies to wait out the timer.

It was a fun, yet short game that stayed somewhat challenging all the way through, good job! The background was also very nice, but my one complaint is the audio. I know it kind of fit in, but after a while it just got annoying!
