    Recycling Robots - athanazio - Competition Entry

    Help the green alien to defeat the robots, recycle your dead enemies to new bullets or to energy !

    good luck weak human !!

    Instructions:
    - move left/right,
    - space jump,
    - change shoot direction up/down
    - 1,2,3,4 shoot
    - E recycle energy
    - B recycle bullets

    It looked good, played good and was fun. My one complaint is that you couldn't aim downwards, which made it hard going down steps.

    Very frenetic, but once I figured out what was going on and what the surprise was, I was able to play it just fine. Good job!

    Difficult game.

    Aiming is quirky. It's difficult to find correct weapons with right angle and enough velocity for way too many situations. Graphics are quite ok.

    The music is awful with the few second loops. Sound effects when hitting and being hit would've been great.

    I didn't really understand why there were so many types of bullets. Is it for use against different colors of enemies? The game physics seemed really fast, but the framerate was kinda low, so everything looked kinda choppy and it was hard to always determine what was going on. I agree with BlackDuck that you should be able to shoot downwards, or at least shoot slower bullets maybe. The graphics are cute.

    I don't understand how to play, what I'm supposed to do, I tried shooting yellow stuff on the yellow tanks but that didn't harm them, the jump is too fast, I can't reach the red planes with red bullets, there are too many keys spread over the keyboard, and it doesn't seem to fit the theme. And the music is definitely too short. And doesn't loop correctly. Which is annoying.

    This game was very bizarre. It takes quite awhile to figure out what to do (took my a long time to see the recycle for bullets and energy thing) and I never did figure out a corresponding bullet to use for various enemies. It didn't seem to matter the colors. The physics were bizarre too. The bullets arc slow if shot up but speed pyscho fast sideways. I also found I faired better if I just booked it for the spinning level ending puzzle piece.
