I was looking forward to trying this, but when I ran it, it went into fullscreen and just stayed black. In fact, I couldn't alt+tab out, or ctrl+alt+delete or ctrl+shift+escape. I had to hard reboot my computer after waiting a minute or two. This has happened with other games for me, though, so I doubt it's your fault.

Strange. I didn't have access to many machines to test on, but alt+tab did work on my development machine. I'll start looking at potential problems for a later revision.

One-shot death and no way to restart without opening again. Add forced fullscreen... =(

A little more work on the presentation would have gone a long way. The game itself seems like a nice retro-take on the theme.

The one-shot death was intentional; I was working on restarting, but didn't have time to finish it, perhaps cleaner code from the start would have helped, but I got anxious and started too soon. The fullscreen was so my netbook could handle it; I'm not sure how to toggle in pygame effectively?

I don't really appreciate the fullscreen mode and that it quits when I die.

As for the game... I guess it sort of makes sense with the theme, since you can capture the enemies, but mostly it seemed like the reverse, "weapons as enemies".

Didn't seem like there was much to the gameplay. You should work on making jumping from weapon to weapon more fun.

Reminded me a bit of the surfing segments in Ninja Turtles fighting games :)

Could've been nice with a bit more work on the presentation.
