First-time entry. Spent too much time on graphics, sound. Most will suspect I spent too little on both...

UPDATED: I uploaded a new stub .exe that does not require privilege elevation.

Navigate around the islands and eat plankton.

There is no "dying" per se, if the game stops without an ending, you failed.

Like the graphics. Like the theme. Wasn't crazy about needing to run with admin privileges. Work on adding some more gameplay, could be a fun game if it had some hazards.

There wasn't much to do here, sadly. The whale sounded rather funny, in a good way!

Nice whale sounds. I had some bugs: one time the game crashed, other times it restarted, or exited, and I wasn't sure why.

Graphics and sound were good! Unfortunately, they repeated themselves too much. I found my eyes were glued to the plankton tonnage meter, instead of enjoying the scenery. I am pretty sure the meter goes backwards sometimes!

Other than that, I had the exact same problems that Localcoder had - one crash, and one seemingly reasonless restart, with different island configuration. [Running Win7 here.]

The Good - good graphics, decent audio, good use of theme.

I had to edit the batch file since the path to app.rb was wrong:

set RUBYOPT=
binrubyw.exe srcsrcapp.rb

Looks nice, feels nice, but isn't just a game yet. With a bit of work it could be.
