Jump between islands until you get to space! Up arrow-key jumps.
My first Ludum Dare! (With 5 whole minutes to spare!)
NB: Added a web version, but it's quite rough - no sound and very hard as it's not as smooth.

Ha, love the graphics for this are pretty sweet! My only complaint is that it gets pretty brutal with the jumps. Got as far as the ice portion before I needed pretty hardcore timing to get past certain sections.

It's pretty humorous that we are trying to rocketbike to the moon. I like the music. It would be cool to have a status bar saying how close you were to the end of the game. I love the difficulty however. It keeps me on my toes. Would be cool to see a easy medium and hard mode so non-gamers can have a chance to win as well.

Great work! I love the graphics and music most of all, it's very rare that you see a ludumdare entry with such slick production values. I got totally stuck at the row of four white boulders in the ice section though, so I had to stop playing, but I had great fun playing. Congratulations on completing your first LD, and with such good results!

It's hard but not unbeatably so. And it won't jump sometimes because it's bouncing.

The smoke looks SO rad. The animations are great. Could've used some SFX, though, as the song was a bet repetitive. The difficulty was rather STEEEEP, but it was fun nonetheless.

I got to the end! Times I died: I don't know, the number was obscured by the trampoline. It looks like 96 though.
I had fun with this one. Especially liked the fast, fluid gameplay. Sure, it's trial-and-error at times, but the frequent restart points mean that's not a big deal. Still, I'd recommend letting the player see a smidgeon more of the obstacles in front of him.
Also, your art is gorgeous and I dig the music. Great entry.

Extreme frustration when jumping over a star, you don't get the checkpoint activated. *Extreme*

Nice! But damn hard. Maybe a tad more checkpoints, the extra bounce is making things a bit too annoying for my taste.

Cool! Best game i've played so far in this LD.
The music is a little monotonus, at least it was good.
The dificulty was well balanced, congratultions for that! I died 102 times but did it to space! =D

Very pretty and I really dig the music. The gameplay is pretty fun basic Canabalt-style one-button hopping, but I didn't really like that you could not jump when your bike was bouncing off the ground. That just made the timing more punishing and the gameplay that much frustrating. I suppose in that sense this game is oldschool in both good and bad ways. Also has a very Japanese feel, what with the anime big eyes and all the sushi.
I still love that music. I think I'm going to leave it on loop for a little bit. :-P

Music and graphics are AMAZING!
All those little touches are present. Very slick.
Gameplay-wise is a different story. I didn't mind the challenge, but it gets very frustrating, very fast. Sometimes I feel that the up key isn't registered (it could be my timing), but every time I thought she was on the ground and didn't jump when I pressed up made me curse out loud.
Great entry for a first time, keep it up!

Great graphics and song. It's very hard.. but I'd like the idea of bouncing because it makes things a little different when comparing to traditional one-button jumping games. Audio effects would be great. Great game. Congratulations.

Nintendo Hard. It's brutal that the bike-bounce prevents you from jumping. You either jump immediately or wait for it to settle down. I made it to space with 121 deaths (might want to adjust the z-order on that end-game count there)

More frustrating than fun... what it really could've used (besides getting rid of the agony of the bounce) is some stuff above you, so spending more than 1/8 second NOT jumping would be correct. What I mean is that you spend the entire game constantly jumping, which is really annoying. I'd rather have a second of driving and then try to time my jump right.
The graphics are awesome, and the music is good, and the whole thing is very peppy, and even kind of addictive (not sending me back TOOOoo far when I die, though I think I never got past the 3rd checkpoint). I just wish it was more forgiving and less constant with the jumping. Which probably mostly means easier.

First of all, love love love the art and audio. Wonderful. Second of all, the game is pretty fun. I gave it a four overall, it would have gotten a 5 except for one major flaw: the controls! For a game that only uses one button it sure seemed to ignore that button an *awfully* large proportion of the time; the no-jump-during bounce thing is just brutal and detracts from the fun of an otherwise great game.
That being said, I still did finish it and I actually did enjoy it. Just please, please, fix the controls post-compo!
Final note: loved the thumbs-up/thumbs down hand.

I liked the art and the music, unfortunately my timing on jumps wasn't amazing, but still a fun little game.
