Lost in Exploration - dertom - Competition Entry

Play this tiny level, collect coins and try to leave the cave again....

steering left/right (with a-key / d-key)
jump (right shift)

Used lots of time to create a framework for creating jMonkeyEngine-Games with the help of blender. Actually I hadn't enough time to create a cool level afterwards. That was really sad,... but nevertheless the result makes me happy.

I managed to crawl up onto the top of the stage and get stuck.

:X

It'd be handy if you moved with the moving platforms, rather than having to walk left/right as they move.

Very nice work. The moving platforms tricked me a couple of times, and I was hoping for a bit more exploring, but impressive work in 3D for LD :)

grayger says ...

Good work with Java and jmonkey even though game play is plain.

I think I like the camera work on this one. Collision wasn't complete, so being on moving platforms was an adventure on its own.

Covenant says ...

Didn't run on my computer... just started up and froze...

Hempuli says ...

It crashes when I try to run it. :/

sinoth says ...

While there isn't too much to do, at least the engine itself feels pretty solid. I hope you continue to refine it for future projects!

matrin says ...

Liked it, but it's too short.

sf17k says ...

the 3d graphic style is cools

chuchino says ...

Very rough and unpolished, but the 3D graphics have an odd charm to them. The camera angle changes were cool, though the angle for the spikes was a bit awkward.
