    Remember you can hold the Z key down to dash in the direction you're facing.

    I liked the adventure-game plus inventory management angle you're going for, I just chafed with the controls. I also really wanted him to run faster - his run speed is barely tolerable, his walk speed is not. Gotta give props for rocking the GBC green though.

    Really like the graphic style and the way the sound pans as you move across the screen. I have to agree that the movement should be quicker though.

    Not really inovative but properly made and cute. Juste had difficulties to take objects from the ground :(. Nice job overall =)

    Ah yes, picking up objects you need to be facing it not on top of it, that is a design over-sight, my bad.

    The dash speed should be made faster than, I guess it never bothered me as I knew where I was going as I made the game, I guess that's the effect of 2 day lock-down development, another effect was that I was worried that the item inventory management would be too easy and not enjoyable, but it turns out it worked well so it must have seemed easy and boring to me because I made it, thanks for all the nice comments all.

    Once I got to the roaming monster it became impossible and before that it was too easy. Otherwise it was an outstanding entry graphically and it seemed packed with game-play.

    You can use the lighter to kill the monster, just stand where the possessed painting used to be and attack it with the lighter as it goes past you :)

    Your character moves very slowly and you cannot change your direction while running. The sounds get quite annoying after a while. The graphics are alright and the game fits the theme.

    The dash not being able to turn was intentional, otherwise the player would be stuck holding down the dash key for no reason.

    excellent entry! I found the ghost very hard to get past, and died. But up to that point the game is great! :) very nice gameboy-esque graphics too. well done.

    The graphics are excellent! I love the Game Boy style green. The way the sound changes as you move is also cool.

    As others have said, the movement is too slow. I feel the dash speed should've been the walk speed, and the dash speed should be twice that. The difficulty curve is odd. The first few monsters are difficult to get past, but when you get the Medi-Kit and Gun things become much easier.

    Despite that, it's a great game overall.

    The slow speed makes it very hard to dodge enemies, and the sounds became quickly annoying.
    But the graphics are awesome and the idea/gameplay too!

    Really good effort and surprisingly complete for the compo. As others have said a bit more speed on the main character would have been good but well done.

    I liked how you panned the audio as the player moves around the screen. Movement was quite annoying even after learning about dashing.

    Thanks all, I will from now on double my movement speeds!

    I think the biggest issue was that I knew the game, I knew where B was from A so I could move there in no time, but when you're exploring it takes longer, that's what I missed.

    The first ghost was supposed to be either a dodge puzzle (Dash left/right while trying to make your way to the top) or a timing puzzle, stand at the side and burn it with your lighter.
