Two really cool games to try.
First up is Walker by Catman which is a platformer (no, this one is different trust me!) which has physics and puzzles that keep the adrenaline running in the style of Donkey Kong Country on SNES.
The second game is conceptually simple but I like the idea and the artwork, the image speaks for itself, World in a Bottle by Serilyn:
4.30am I give up.
I started 6 hours ago, I have something broken and incomplete but I really have to sleep due to exams and classes tomorrow. I wish LD could have been a weekend later.
I will get to rating other peoples games as soon as I have some free time.
Disappointed, but still had fun trying to make my entry, a board game.

Alright, I’m in for real now.
This is my second “I’m in” post, the rest of the weekend was spent studying German and Egyptian Hieroglyphs, for exams. I did some initial thinking after the theme was announced and decided to make a board game, so I threw together some code with libgdx to draw some tiles for my board, but beyond that after the theme was announced, I have not started. So here goes.
My tools of choice:
Platform: Windows 7, ASUS A53E i7 2630QM, on-chip Intel HD 3000 GPU
Language/libraries: Java with libgdx.
Editor: Eclipse
Version Control: Git
Graphics: Gimp, Corel Painter, Inkscape
Music: Sibelius, Epiphone Dot Semi-Acoustic Guitar, Korg X50 Synthesizer
Sound Effects: Amateur folio with built-in laptop mic and Audacity.
Organizing: Emacs Org-mode or just a *scratch* buffer
Focusing: Panic.
