Progress so far
I decided to make a kind of defense type shooter game for LD23!
Terrible terrible alien invaders from planet-Z2 are preparing to invade your chunk of earth! It’s up to you to save your little world with your last defense turret!
The aliens will get to the invading part eventually, but now there’s time to test out your weaponry and make final configurations! So here’s a bunch of placeholder art and some editable stats:

(Mouse to aim, left click to shoot, right click to reset your stats).
The focus will be on customization of your turret and (hopefully) your floating islands defenses. Some stat configurations might work better than others against certain enemy types.
Or I’ll just make everything an asteroid if I run out of time. We shall see!
There’s still a bunch to add and change. My coding style got progressively more awful the sleepier I got so that’s gonna be fun to deal with tomorrow. But I’m pretty sure I can finish this!
