Finally have rated 10% of all games and wanted to bring some attention to some entries I don’t think have enough love yet:

Tiny Colony

A delightful mash-up of ant life simulation, RPG and light strategy.

Zephyr

A beautiful, relaxing game. Also a good example of arcade mechanics fashioned for casual players.

Nineties Hollywood Hacker

An interesting game in two stages: stage one is where you fit together a series of circuits (ala Pipemania). Stage two you enter the circuits and must navigate yourself through the levels you have laid down, battling enemies, etc.

On Another Scale

Less emphasis on gameplay and more on the experience here: a beautiful, dreamlike world to navigate from one end to the other.

Tiny Worids

A super-fun word game take on the theme.

The World of Marceline

Again, this is less about ‘gameplay’ and more about an experience – in this case, the Holocaust. Very emotional.

Tiny’s World

I dare you to play this to the end AND NOT end up singing slong or collapsing in a heap of giggles.

Orbiter

Like a lot of other entries, this is towere defense that takes place on a tiny planet, but this one stood out to me: though maybe not as action packed as some of it’s bretheren, it has a chill, lego-esque vibe that resonated with me.

Extensionism

A moody puzzle game where the goal is to literally extend the borders of your tiny world.

And in the interest of shameless self promotion try my game, Tiny Planet:

9 out of 10 commenters agree that it will make your eyes bleed.
