This is my first time at Ludum Dare! For my entry I'm planning to use libGDX for cross-platform Java game loveliness, with some iffy programmer art and sweet sfxr sounds. I'm also going to be developing from a 1.2Ghz Netbook whilst moving home over the weekend!

Screenshot Time (+ I”m in!)

I forgot to do an “I’m in” post. But I am – time for a screenshot or two.

 

My game is a tiny ant colony sim. Red vs Blue :) Most of the basics are there (music, some textures). Working on the ant AI at the moment to try and make gameplay a bit more interesting. Going to have stats like Nethack (HP, stamina, levels) if I get around to it. I’m recording the whole thing to, so a youtube video will be up later.
