Ludum Dare #22 – Preparation for my first!

    Posted by (twitter: @Mattishd)

Well, in preparation for my first ludum dare I have some simple java which I have been writing for my Uni project which I’ll end up using.

It will use JOGL with processing.org’s stuff as the processing IDE makes me an unhappy pappy.

Current state of it can be found here:

    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/13276897/Uni%20Stuff/Java%20packages/TentacleNoises.rar

Unless you can perform miracles I doubt it will run straight up. You can find an example of it here(derp @ libraries):

    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/13276897/Uni%20Stuff/Examples/Linux32Bit.rar

    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/13276897/Uni%20Stuff/Examples/Linux64Bit.rar

    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/13276897/Uni%20Stuff/Examples/Mac.rar

    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/13276897/Uni%20Stuff/Examples/Win32Bit.rar

    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/13276897/Uni%20Stuff/Examples/Win64Bit.rar

As its a jar, run from the command line: java -jar <file>

If that still throws errors, throw “-Djava.library.path=” with the path to the libraries in the mix.

This will be my first attempt at creating a full game, let alone for a competition. Hopefully it won’t go all horribly wrong.
