Day 1 finished! What have we got…
Well, I think day 1 went pretty well. Got most of the gfx engine and main class structured down. Only thing that is left is the fighting gameplay, mob randomization and boss stuff(oh and sound by sssssh).

Woken up and ready for a fresh start /w streaming!
Ok so got a good nights sleep and already starting mashing away. Hoping to get a lot of the game engine done today and leaving mostly textures and sound for the 2nd day.

Ok, so I spent the time until now brainstorming to get what I want to do for the game. I got the main gameplay mechanics down and the feel I want to do for the game.

That is all, but yeah. 3:45am it is now so I feel as though it would be best to sleep on the ideas and start progress tomorrow! There will also be a stream up! so look forward to that.
Back for a 2nd time
Well well well.
After taking part in my 1st LD for #22 and coming top for community + reasonable well in others, I felt I should be coming back and doing another! I meant to for #23 but things happen!
I hope that I should be able to be awake for the start.
I decided to use XNA this time around although Ive yet to make a game at all in it, so we’ll see how it goes!

Well, I felt that I did pretty well! This is technically the first game I have ever made (lol) which sounds weird considing how it turned out.
Ontop of that, I am rendering up the timelapse to be done by tomorrow hopefully!

Ludum Dare #22 – Preparation for my first!
Well, in preparation for my first ludum dare I have some simple java which I have been writing for my Uni project which I’ll end up using.
It will use JOGL with processing.org’s stuff as the processing IDE makes me an unhappy pappy.

Unless you can perform miracles I doubt it will run straight up. You can find an example of it here(derp @ libraries):

As its a jar, run from the command line: java -jar <file>
If that still throws errors, throw “-Djava.library.path=” with the path to the libraries in the mix.
This will be my first attempt at creating a full game, let alone for a competition. Hopefully it won’t go all horribly wrong.
