And I’m ready!
I have been almost ready for some time now, couple of hours. I asked my friends to try that the zip works and that the game works, technically. I suddenly just had to make new picture for success screen after I had all packaged up, but hey, that’s that
Husband wakes me up …
… and tells me what’s the theme for LD21. I even get one idea, so maybe I have to participate this time
Hour and half later I have done some kind of proof of concept to prove myself that I might even get through with it.
Materialized: a game!
So now there is a game! I call it Scouting only! because that’s what it is all about
There is Windows, Mac OSX and Linux versions, thanks to Java, and sources are in the same package. This has been fun, and as this was a first time for me, it certainly will not be the last
Materialized: breakfast and highest score
It was something like 3 pm when I finally made it out of bed. Other half had just brewed some coffee, so here’s my breakfast cupfull with some rye bread with it. After drinking it, I have managed to get done highest score showing in to the game.

Materialized: Health bar!
There is now a moving player, a health bar, and winning/loosing conditions. What is missing, is sounds, there are none whatsoever, and a wall of fame would be nice. Of course, polishing is what could be done for ever and ever.
