Right, so, video,
Enemys, Health, objectives? an end? Also extended the screen size to 1024×768 as the default small window started to get on our balls!
Maybe… One thing’s for sure, It sure is going well. Poor guy lost his arm though!
As tonight draws to an end, have a youtube video of our days work as it stands
Making progress on our 2D Firefall-esque minimalist style graphics clone. It’s going really well and is already pretty fun.
Our take on the Minimalism stupid theme is to do all the graphics in a monochrome with minimal color (kinda like the sin city movie take on it)
Where the magic is going to happen!
We’re ready and raring to do a late night!
We’re back after the fun we had on LD25.
My work colleague and I will be entering the Jam again for this LD26.
Tools of the trade are boringly standard now.
SFXR, Supernova, Photoshop, Paint.Net, all the standard things, nothing amazing.
Looking forward to having a weekend working with my work colleague at home instead of at work this time. Should be fun!
Just in the nick of time. And to relax, Here’s a video of me being chased by my own enemy AI.
(Spoiler, they lose)
Sooo clooooseeee. Definately going to be able to ship on time. Only problem i’ve got is WE WANT TO ADD MORE CONTENT.
Let us know of any ground breaking bugs and we’ll try and smash them out too. Submitting shortly… WOOOOOO
Our game gets ever nearer completion. Only AI left to go.
Another update, progress has been good today. We’re looking like this now:
Quick video of our amoebas consuming eachother.
It’s been about a year since i’ve last entered. And all times previous i’ve been soloing. This time my Work collegue and i are going to enter the jam together and work on a game over 3 days instead.
Same old stuff:
image editing: Paint.net (photoshop/illustrator from collegue)
I’ll be using my ever-evolving game engine, Supernova from my solo runs in this Jam go.
Look forward to seeing all the great entries.
