I’m actually satisfied with my result, it’s a Castelvania styled game, simple whip-everything. It’s just that in this you need to keep your time up or else you die ;_;
There’s a boss at the end, so there’s something to look for!

I had barely any time to work on my MiniLD on saturday so I’m way behind. My game still needs a ton of adjustments and additions that I’m constantly working. I’m developing a Portal-like puzzle game called Clone. My dare was to make a 3d ASCII game, although it looked way to ugly, so I dropped it. Clone pretty much involves you waking up in a testing center with a clone of yourself trying to escape by solving your way though all the rooms. But it’s got plenty of puzzle traits like lasers, boxes, buttons, doors, wires, conductors, etc.
Here’s a screenshot:
Right now the laser is powering the powerbox which powers the wires. Although it still needs some fixing. The “companion cube” looking pushable box can block lasers. The lighting isn’t that dynamic either. But EVERYTHING right now is a work in progress,
Well I finished, this is probably my best finished game in the shortest time…

Updated: Chainsaw level, zombie amount nerfed.
Eh, I’m done with the alone dark kind of game, I’ll just make it a survival. Where you have to keep eating so you don’t die from hunger.
Well, I didn’t know if I could do it, but I did! And I feel great! This really has improved on my experience in programming because I found out I know I can do greater than I expected. My game is called S.S. Unpredictable and here’s the link to the entry! http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/minild-30/?action=preview&uid=5287
