Lot of progress !
I’ve been coding for this morning, and I did’nt have time to post.
Now, my game begins to look like a game
The scenario is currently not finished, I’m working hard on it.
The demo is here.
TODO : Music, win/lost/beginning cinematics, end of the scenario, some improvments. Estimated time : 4 hours
Isn’t it tiny ?
I have had a good night, slept for 8 hours, let’s code.
What have I done ?
→ All generated planets now have a particular gravity system : you won’t jump as high on big planets as on smaller ones.
→ Different objects now have differents grounds : for example, on the green planet, the sheep is in the background, whereas the tree is on the foreground.
→ I try a very very small planet for fun

You can now interact with objects in worlds.
There are actually 3 tiny debug planets, use the top-left button to switch.
TextFields are not really well-designed (:D), but I’ll fix that tomorrow. Let’s sleep (UTC + 1) !
With angel wings
Well. I’ve been working for hours now, and some improvments have been done.
You can now jump (o/), there are several planets and a switch button which will be changed later, etc.
You can discover that yourself : build 6.
With lead shoes
Now there is some gravity on my tiny planet.
Still some bugs to fix, must code obstacles and jumps, and I’ll attack the scenario

I have been playing with pixels for 1 hour, and I think my renderer is quite nice

I think I’ll generate all my graphics with it, with strange pixel effects you can’t find in a real game (pixel rotation ? huh)…

So, this weekend, I’ll try to make and finish my own game for the first time (my first real LD). I hope I’ll learn lots of new things and enjoy this LD.
I’ll use :
→ HaXe/Flash for the code/core
→ FlashDevelop as IDE
→ Gimp (and Blender if required) for graphics
→ LMMS and sfxr for the sound, if I have time.
→ And I must not forget my personal libs and some haxe libs I’ll also probably use, such as feffects
So, maybe I’ll not code during the whole 48h, but I’ll try to make at least a little game : if the theme does not inspire me, or if I don’t manage to find time, this will be a fail. (No, don’t be too severe, I live in France : I don’t want to wake up at 2:00am and I am only 15 :fear: )

I’m really late and will try to make my best to create a little game in approximately 10 hours (I must sleep !).
