Finally, An Idea Emerges

Only took me 12 hours but I finally have an idea that is worth it.

You’re a virus in the blood stream and must infect everything SHMUP style.

Doesn’t sound like much but the glory is going to be in the gameplay mechanics. Every antibody you infect you can become, and every antibody you become slowly dies because it is infected. The rush to infect and become the next enemy before the current one dies will give the game that “je ne sais quoi” that I’ve been looking for.

Finally Done

Finished my first LD. What a great ride.

Congrats to all who finished.

Now time for some sleep.

You can play my game in your browser (Sound only works in Chrome).

21 hours to go. Doesn’t sound like enough.

I’m making a driving game where your tiny world is exploding and you must race to the next one before it’s too late.

Driving mechanics are working and my random level generator seems to be doing its job.

I still have no menus or sound.  Think I can get chrome web api sound working but for the other browsers it’s gonna be a race against time.
